My Story
When you have a child, that child becomes your world. You are committed to doing everything you can to protect them, keep them safe, and help them grow up to be an outstanding individual.
Keeping them safe from the sun is one of many things we do. And we do this with sunscreen.
So imagine learning that the sunscreen you have been putting on your child’s body is causing harm. It is a horrible feeling I hope no parent will ever feel.
This is what led me to Beautycounter. I learned John was allergic to Chemical based sunscreen. And the mineral sunscreen I had was hard to apply. Beautycounter wasn’t around then but when I was introduced to them I saw they had a mineral sunscreen, and they also had an opportunity for me to get more clean, safe products. So I did.
I quickly learned the products I had been using in my home for years contained a lot of ingredients that were not safe for us. So we threw them away, and started over.
Living a cleaner life is a journey. We are always learning, always reading, always making cleaner, safer choices.
